Well-written book on strange people, places and things in New Hampshire. Written in a clear, concise manner, most chapters are 1 paragraph to a few pages long. This book was well-researched and should intrigue New Hampshire citizens as well as anyone with an interest in the odd and quirky. UFO accounts are not as interesting to me as hauntings, but the chapter on "the Hill Incident" made this UFO encounter scary and compelling. "The Worst Weather in the World" about the brutal Mt. Washington weather, provided many facts I had never read before. My favorite account in this book is "Castle in the Clouds" due in no small part that it is my favorite site in N.H. I would read more books by this marvelous young author.

This is a very interesting book. Who would have thought all of this was/is in the great state of New Hampshire.

This book is nonfiction written so smoothly that it's like reading a novel. The author has done extensive research, offering far more detail than most books of this type. I not only enjoyed it tremendously, but learned a lot of new things from it. I'd recommend it to everyone.
