Choke By Obert Skye Have you ever wanted to learn about fiery dragons? If you have, this is the book for you. This book is very intense and it leaves you on the edge of your seat wanting for more. Choke follows in the same vein as Pillage, and it’s a fun read-but I’m getting a bit tired of fun reads that have no depth to them. I couldn’t stand Beck in this book and none of the other characters are well-developed enough for me to even begin to like them. The revelation at the end was too abrupt, and overall it smacked of Trilogy Formula all over.

This was more of a 3.5 for me because of how neatly the ending was summed up, but since I like the author, I'm going with a 4. Beck is a humorous character. I enjoyed this sequel, though it took a big long to get to the exciting stuff. Going on to the third book.

The Choke series isn't "Leven Thumps" but they are good, not great, but good. The dragons in these books just aren't very enticing or inviting (even in the dangerous way). I really enjoy the way Obert Skye writes though. His style of writing shines even when the story isn't quite fascinating.

The main charectar in the book-takes us on an adventure through a huge creepy house, that sounds bigger than the local mall, wrestles with his own demons,or dragons if you prefer, and entertains us on the way.A definite good read.
