Papercutz Slices #4: The Hunger Pains by Stefan Petrucha

I loved the book the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I also enjoyed the original Hunger Pains by The Harvard Lampoon. However, with the high standards that were set by those two books, I found this Hunger Pains graphic novel to fall extremely short of my expectations. It was also very hard to follow. Other books in the series. Papercutz Slices (4 books). Books by Stefan Petrucha. Mor. rivia About The Hunger Pains.

The hit science fiction novel series gets the Papercutz Slices parody. All three books from The Hunger Games trilogy get sliced up by parody team Rick Parker and Stefan Petrucha, who refuse to pull any punches in this comedic romp. Help us to make General-Ebooks better!

It is the parody of "Hunger Games". This book "Hunger Pains" is a hilarious book. I like it because it has lots of adventure, another thing is it had a lot of detail. It's called a parody because every thing that happens in "Hunger Games" is switched around to be funny. For example, when Prim (a girl in Hunger Games) left her older sisters' bed then the bed started to turn cold. Rat-kiss (in Hunger Pains) says the bed is cold because she must have wet the bed again. Its about a girl &.

Papercutz parodies the hot YA series just before its big budget film adaptation hits theaters in the fourth volume of Papercutz Slices. Ratkiss Everspleen decides to take her sister Dim’s place in the annual televised "Battle to the Death," even though Mayor Underwear insists participation is completely optional. Ratkiss and her fellow contestant Peek A Choo soon begin training under Heybitch Blubbernasty for the most unnecessary battle of their lives. Expect laughs galore in this pointed parody that pokes fun at everything from Glee to Winnie the Pooh

Eh, this one was okay. In this parody of the Hunger Games, we follow Ratkiss (Katniss) as she becomes Ditch 12’s newest tribute to the games. As with the previous graphic novels, the characters receive new names that can be mildly entertaining (Ex: Prim = Dim, Peeta = Peeka Chu). I liked how this deviated from the source material and brought in other pop culture references (Ex: Glee, Wheel of Fortune), but it still wasn’t particularly funny as a whole.

Dim, Ratkiss's annoying little sister gets chosen for the Hunger Pains. If you win you bring back prizes and money but Ratkiss inteferes become she wants to win and get those prizes, but the audience adores Peeka (a boy from her Ditch [12]) and hates Ratkiss so they tie. But what will happen in the aftermath of the Hunger Pains?

The book I'm giving a review on is "Hunger Pains". It is the parody of "Hunger Games". This book "Hunger Pains" is a hilarious book. I like it because it has lots of adventure, another thing is it had a lot of detail.

Its about a girl & boy, named Rat-kiss and Flail. They are set to go on a mission together of hunger pains. The government is sending teens out to fight to death. The teens go after each other to kill one another. Rat-kiss and Flail didn't listen very well. They push elders out of their wheel chair and throw babies out of their strollers. One thing I dislike is how rude Ratkiss and Flail are. They push elders and throw babies.
