The author seemed at times to be intent on overwhelming his readers with his intellect. I was looking for good entertaining stories on sports. Correct grammar was not as important to me. There were some good stories in this bunch. It was worth reading. I wish the sport personalities were more in the forefront and the author was a little more in the background. But, as I said, it was an interesting read overall.
