The book begins and ends with strange passages. The lengthy preface sounds very much like a long thread of miracle cure stories. I thought I was reading a theological rather than a psychological book in the beginning. And then a sudden shift on page 42, where the proper book begins. In difficult, not only psychological but also medical terminology, a theory of neurosis (and psychosis) is presented which is precise, logical, clear (if you spend the effort to step into this terminological cosmos) The book begins and ends with strange passages
