The Agnese-Re book is organized by site, which I found much more helpful since this will be my first trip to Egypt. It helped me decide what I really want to see at each site. I loved the book Ancient Egypt Art and Archeology so much that I gave my copy away as a gift, but wanted another one for myself. It is exactly the right level of information, and the photos are fantastic. Reading it is like taking a trip to the important Egyptian archeological sites.
