I attend GSU and they wanted crazy amounts of money for the custom version of this book. Don't bother! This was cheaper by A LOT and IS THE EXACT SAME MATERIAL!!!!!!! Actually, this had a little bit more information, so this is highly recommended for anyone trying to avoid the custom college version.

The one I bought literally costed around $3.00 total (including shipping) and arrived within that week. It was in great condition too. Overall it's a pretty decent textbook, not too hard to follow, but it does get wordy.

This book was required material for my political science class. The chapters are easy to read and includes charts and data, good for a basic introduction into political science. Personally not a fan of the course but this book conveys information on a level that even the most inexperienced person in politics could follow.

This textbook was specifically for Oklahoma University, but it was an exact match to the book I needed for my class in Texas. The only difference was the opening introductions. It was a great price, I saved $100 by buying it on amazon instead of the school bookstore.
