It's been a long time since I read this one but as I recall, it was very interesting.
My opinion of this book is very low indeed. The author doubtless has the best of intentions, but is drawing on racial preconceptions for the theme of the book. Links to Bible prophecy are claimed, but not well supported in the text itself. The book was very quickly thrown together by the retired minister from the Bahamas following the 2008 Presidential election and does not warrent reading by the average American citizen. It does contain unbounded praise for Barack Obama for those looking for further reenforcement of their opinion of the current President.
Obama In Prophecy, has an interesting take on Barack Obama's place in contemporary history. Central to the book's premise is that God reserves the right to intervene in human history to one way or the other accomplish His purposes. This includes changes in the leadership of Nations and changes in the attitudes of people globally. Whereas many people seem to feel that nothing good can happen in a big way on the global scene, the writer asserts that Obama, while not being perfect, continues to inspire millions from every land to be optimistic, industrious and to seek to fulfill the ideal of racial harmony and healing. The book is an easy read, yet it includes many elements worthy of commendation.
