FROM FLUSHING TO CALVARY continues the story with Dahlberg using a fancier style, no doubt influenced by his reading of Joyce, ULYSSES in particular. This was actually only Bottom Dogs, as I couldn't find a listing for that book alone. Though it does pale in comparison to Dahlberg's later neo-baroque 17th century prose style, it is a good novel. He later took issue with his use of vernacular, but its an excellent record of the street-speech of the American West circa the early part of the 20th century.
