Wesley Pippert is UPI's chief correspondent in Israel. For the last 13 years, Mr. Pippert has covered three presidential campaigns, two White House administrations, and was UPI's principal reporter on Watergate. At age 20, he joined United Press and began work in the Dakotas, then Chicago, Washington and finally Israel. In 1966, he was awarded a Congressional Fellowship. Wesley Pippert is UPI's chief correspondent in Israel. In 1966, he was awarded a Congressional Fellowship sponsored by the American Political Science Association and in the 1970's a journalism fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
