This textbook was kind of awful. There were wrong equations, everywhere. The knowledge transferred was pretty good from a conceptual point, and all of the variables used in a chapter are laid out in the beginning which makes it easy to understand. But don't expect to use this text book as a reference to accomplish any actual engineering task of value because half the equations are wrong. This could be a good textbook if its revised to have material that is correct.

I've only been using the book for four weeks and so far me and my whole class have been suffering. There are too many mistakes in the book. I thought that the book giving us the answers to the problems of each chapter would be comforting, but instead it has produced paranoia due to the fact that we've encountered a numerous amount of WRONG ANSWERS. We have even crossed some of the examples in the book which are wrong as well. Our professor has noticed this and is deciding to change to another book. Also the questions aren't easy to understand and are worded unusually as if the author was intentionally trying to confuse us. I would not recommend this book to anyone at all and if you do have it, burn it...TWICE!

This book gives you answers to the problems but a ton of them are wrong. The book is a pain to read and understand. Hopefully teacher uses another book next semester so other students don't suffer.
Great Book! One of the few college textbooks that is actually worth the money.
