My Brother's Keeper" is a new pop culture illustration by California-based digital concept artist Dan LuVisi that reimagines Sesame Street's muppet. I imagined Bert as a Marine who left his little brother behind for the Vietnam war. Even though they are identified as male characters and possess many human traits and characteristics (as most Sesame Street Muppets™ do), they remain puppets, and do not have a sexual orientation.
