The cover fools you, it looks pretty plain and un-assuming... black and white drawing and all.... but when you get into it, it explodes into massive info on the subject. There is detail. There is great writing. There are wonderful drawings and the like that just can't be found anywhere else!!! For the historian as well, (especially), the model builder, this book is the Alpha and Omega.

Buy this book and look no more for any chance of finding something better. I've been looking for years. This is it.
Great book, just as described, fast delivery, and professional handling. 5 stars!
I am in the process of rebuilding cannon carriages for Fort Stanwix National Monument (NPS). The book was extremely valuable in drawings for reconstruction work we are doing. Fort Stanwix is most noted for the siege of 1777.
deadly claw
It was what I was looking for. I know what I need to build it now

As a manufacturer of replica antique products at Rideable Bicycle Replicas I found this booklet to be very informative and helpful with my new bronze naval gun project. Hopefully I can have the prototype ready shortly and test it out. Now if I can just keep the guys back in my shop to keep it clean I'll be really happy.
