Gaye Strathearn is a specialist on the New Testament and Christian origins and associate professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Strathearn grew up in Redcliffe, Queensland, Australia. She studied at the University of Queensland and earned a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy.
