Like any book written by this author- the book is superb.
The story has many surprises, sometimes totally unexpected moments
and is from he beginning to the end spellbinding and as always her books-- very well written,
I am thankful I could find of her books on e-book, since the libraries often do not have them anymore.

I read my first Evelyn Anthony books in high school in the 1970's and could only read what was available in the public library. This summer I decided to re-read those two books and discovered that there are so many of her wonderful, intriguing stories for me to fill my own library with. Her female characters are always strong and daring. I find myself wishing there would be sequels to each book.

All of her books are great. This is one of her best. If you like mafia and World War 2 books...this is the one for you.

A good story with intrigue, romance, and well written. The characters were well developed and the story moved at a good pace. Wasn't boring.
