She Loves Me Not by Wendy Corsi Staub

Rose Larrabee is a widowed mother of two. She's working hard to keep things together, both financially, physically and emotionally. When someone leaves a heart shaped box of candy on her car seat, she figures she has a secret admirer. But when someone repeatedly calls in the middle of the night, she starts to get worried.

SHE LOVES M. HE LOVES ME NOT Life goes on. That’s what young widow Rose Larabee tells herself each day as she has to be both mother and father to her two young children, a task that leaves little time for new romance. That’s why she’s surprised to find the simple, homemade valentine in her mailbox, a paper heart with no signature. This is a Multifile Torrent. Now that Calla has accepted her ability to communicate with the Other Side, she's desperate to connect with the spirit of her late mother. But she gets more than she bargained for when she stumbles across a shocking secret that will change her future forever.

Ms. Staub does a great job of going back and forth between scenes and characters and builds up enough suspicion that the killer could be any one of many characters. She keeps that suspense going through the entire book until the killer is revealed (though I'm proud to say I did figure it out). The characters are all well-developed which makes you care about what happens to them. The plot is smartly designed and well thought out.

This is my 3rd Wendy Corsi Staub book and my favorite so far. "She Loves Me Not" is suspenseful and keeps you guessing through most of the book. Once I started this book, I had to finish it. Creepy, suspenseful and psychologically thrilling, this book is a winner. I can't wait to read all of Wendy Corsi Staub's books.

I received this book in the mail from amazon.com and read it in the same day-not because it was short, but because I couldn't sleep until I knew who the killer was! As usual, with Staub's books, I thought I had it all figured out, but was surprised by the killer's identity!!!
A young, widowed mother of two receives an unsigned Valentine, and thinks nothing of it. But when more mysterious items start showing up, and she starts receiving phone calls in the middle of the night playing a haunting tune, Rose realizes that her "admirer" might not be friendly at all! In fact, she begins to suspect that the person frightening her may indeed be someone she knows and trusts, someone who knows all too much about her past.
A great, suspensful read-I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good scare and is willing to sleep with the lights on!

She is my new favorite author. I love the family-based characters and the everyday settings of her books. But most of all, I love the way she introduces various characters that could possibly be 'the bad guy', and then plays on those variations, keeping you guessing until the very end as to who the real culprit is. I can usually figure out the killer in most murder mysteries, but her story revelations always surprise me, yet are very believable. This book was yet another of hers that I just did not ever want to put down. Excellent read!

Once again, Ms Staub has written her novel using a scenario I have not seen before. The identity of the killer remanded a mystery until the very end, although I was able to narrow it down to 3 characters. My only disappointment is that there is a lot of "filler" but this book is worth reading if you like mysteries.

My favorite writer does it again! The shocking ending in this who-done-it by Staub will leave you speechless. As I read this book I was sure I had the "bad guy" figured out. I was very wrong which is partly what makes this book so outstanding. I will continue to read Staub's books, and re-read them, because they are just so entertaining.

WCS is a fantastic writer! She keeps you in the story all the way to the end, and never lets on who the bad person is, until you think you know who it is, surprise...you were wrong! Sudden twists and turns make her books exciting. I can't wait to start the next one on my list.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I read the first half over a few days then the second half until it was finished to see whodunit. I really like this author and her books don't disappoint this is the fifth one I have read one after another I am not bored by her all the plots have been different and fresh. I am now about to start no. 6.
I am completely blown away that this book was better than the last. Wendy has not disappointed me. I would recommend this book it had everything. I am looking forward to my next choice.
