Mrs. Malory and No Cure for Death (Mrs. Malory Mystery) by Hazel Holt

Malory and No Cure for Death. Mrs. Malory and a Death in the Family. Malory and a Time to Die. Malory and Any Man’s Death. And. A necessary end. A Sheila Malory Mystery. No part of this book may be reproduced, scanned, or distributed in any printed or electronic form without permission.

Malory has fallen and fractured her wrist and so is requried to go to the clinic to have it checked. This is the 16th book in the series by Hazel Holt about the wonderful and lovable Mrs. Sheila Malory. Once again I visited the cozy little English village of Taviscombe and read about all of Mrs. Malory's friends, family and pets. I love the English village, even with the occasional murder happening, this time a very brilliant, but arrogant doctor is found stabbed to death in his office and Mrs. Mallory must sift through all the suspects to track down the killer. Another little murder mystery, by Hazel Holt, if you had a doctor, who managed to rub people up the wrong way,was abrumpt, and had not a very nice bedside manner, would you want him dead? somebody wanted Dr,M dead, and Sheila is going to find out who. I am a big fan of Hazel's books, and this is one of her best

Series: Sheila Malory (16). Another great Mrs. Malory mystery in the style of Agatha Christie. ) LadyoftheLodge Aug 5, 2013. This one got docked a half star for the plethora of characters. Quite possibly if I'd read all 15 books in the series, instead of having previously read only one of them, it wouldn't be so overwhelming. That's always a problem coming into the middle of a series. However, if the book had grabbed me, it wouldn't have bugged me so much-I'd just feel compelled to start at the beginning.

However, if the book had grabbed me, it wouldn't have bugged me so much--I'd just feel compelled to start at the beginning.

But this was such a rambling story--we get treated to discussions of the main character cleaning out her closets, for example--that I lost track of what the mystery was supposed to be for chapters at a time.
