Gerard Joseph Malanga (born March 20, 1943) is an American poet, photographer, filmmaker, curator and archivist. Malanga was born in the Bronx in 1943, the only child of Italian immigrant parents.

An odd set of mostly unpleasant characters engage in the usual deceptions, secrets, and obfuscation to mask the real villain. I appreciated the intelligent, well-balanced heroine, but found the detective "hero" less real.
I would love to have met E. X. Ferrars - what a complex mind. Each book has you to the end!
