I read "Sins of the Flesh" by Don Davis and Jay Davis approximately 20-25 years ago. Though this horror novel contains one or two mistakes in the story line, I found it to be an excellent, top notch horror novel. It's up there with the stories of Stephen King or Dean Koontz. I've been meaning for years to purchase a copy of my own, but never got around to it till very recently. I would recommend this supernatural horror thriller to any avid reader who is into horror stories.

I bought this book when it first came out over 25 years ago. I was a teenager and it absolutely gave me chills. Every so often, I pick it up and re-read it again. It's absolutely chilling. It is one of the most vividly frightening book I've ever read. The plot moves along well, it never feels forced or over worked and, I wish some intrepid young director would make this into a movie. Jessie Sykes is to kind of creature that nightmares are made of, and the book is worthy of all the accolades it gets.

Excellent read. You can actually picture and feel for the characters in this story. Once you start reading the story will have you not wanting to put it down.

Good book. Kinda spooky, since I would spend summers with my grandparents during the summer in Gideon.

I loved this book. Years ago some how I got my hands on this book and I read it and loved it. I often looked for one for my kindle and finally found it. It would be great to get it on an audible book. This book may not be for everyone. I was drawn into the book and it unfolded in my mind, as I read, just like a movie. Very good.

I read this book about 8 years ago. It was the only book that has ever given me nightmares (and I mean bad ones). I borrowed it to someone and forgot who and it was never returned. I coundn't for the life of me remember the name of it only the picture on the front cover. I have spent 8 years searching and finally found it again. If you like truely scary stuff...don't let this one pass you by. You will remember it for a long time!

The horror/ sci-fi genre has gotten stuck on certain supernatural elements, such as vampires and werewolves. This book is a refreshing departure from the same old stuff. I had never read a book about a wendigo, a legendary Native American shape-shifting creature. Not only was the book a page turner, it was scary! I wish there were a lot more books like this.
