1979) A novel by Diana Palmer. She was gonna get her man! Lutecia Peacock was at her wits' end! And it was all due to Russell Currie. The sexy-as-all-get-out farmer who had helped raise Lutecia after her father died refused to see that she was a grown-up now - and a pretty sensational looking one at that.

Diana didn’t have a choice. She loved Charles, Rivett, who worked with Diana from 1991 until Diana’s death in 1997, said during the episode. She also spoke of the aura of melancholy Diana carried about with her as her marriage crumbled. In that interview, Diana also admitted to an affair with cavalry officer James Hewitt, who by then had betrayed her with his tell-all book about their relationship.

Being a long time reader of Diana Palmer, and an avid collector of her 'older' books I was surprised to find a volume that I hadn't yet read, and I wasn't disappointed. Although, if you're an animal lover; like me, there is a particular moment in the book when you think, I wish that hadn't happened. There's no cruelty involved and it doesn't detract from the book, it just gives you a sad moment.

This novel follows the usual formula, of boy meets girl, or rather boy has known girl for a long time, but there are barriers involved to being together. Boy finally realises that the obstructions aren't really important, and gets girl.

If you want a book with which to while away an hour or so in light entertainment and romance, with no heavy due intimacy included then this is the book for you, especially if you're a DP fan.

This was a good story, but it was so drawn out, the same over and over. Would have been much better to have told the story, let it play out and have an ending with more detail.

As the rest of her books I enjoyed it. Trish and Russ had a long lasting relationship that grew into a passion that developed l to a true love

Diana Palmer does it again, a true love story. More romance than passion, but staying true to Palmer fashion, older man younger woman and a strong cosmic pull toward each other that neither one of them can resist
Cordalas
very good. love all her books
Raelin
like all Diana Palmer books this is a young heroine and older hero falling in love. And ofcourse the hero doesnt like it. It has DP`s signature theme, but overall very enjoyable
Wat!?
It's a good story, it's written in a way that I couldn't stop reading till I finished it.
I am going to reed more books written by this author.
Not her very best but still a classic for Diana Palmer. Enjoyed reading it but may not pick it up to read again.
