Steven first told me about YANKEE TAVERN when I saw him last February in Denver at The Colorado New Play Summit. He sent me an early draft and we did a Stage Reading of it at CATF last July. The reading went really well and I am looking forward to producing it this summer. This is a fascinating script and one that I intend to produce at my theater company within the next few years. Well written. Clever. Makes you really stop and think about what is real.
Quirky, interesting and thought provoking.
An excellent play full of wacky, biting dialogue. A quick, easy read that will leave you going..."what just happened?"

GREAT play to find two or three person scenes out of for school/acting exercises. Difficult dialogue.

Interesting twist at the end.
