The Pursuit by Lori Wick is an excellent read! The final book in The English Garden series does a great job of standing on its own while at the same time, tying up all the loose ends from the other three books in the series. I love Lori Wick's writing style and have yet to read any of her books that not only satisfy the longing for a good story, but also do a wonderful job of presenting the Good News of Christ as well. I highly recommend this book to others looking for more of Wick's books.

I thought it was a unique story line that was good. I finished it in one day! I like that she incorporates scripture too.

A perfect ending for the series. I only wish for a spouse for Henry. Mrs. Wicks love for her Lord and savior are evidenced by her writings. I look forward to reading more of this newly discovered author and will be recommending to my friends.

Love this entire series by Lori Wick! If you're familiar with her style, this is very typical. Nice, light reading. It's one I've read multiple times.

I am a huge Lori Wick fan and have read all but a couple of her books, and I have to say I was so disappointed with "The Pursuit". It was rather dry and boring through most of the book. As I read I kept thinking that someone else must've wrote it and just put Lori's name on the cover because it was so out of character for her. Her books have always been page turners to me, but I had to muddle through this one. My biggest disappointment was the lack of romance. That's why I read her books is because of romance! I can't help it...I'm a hopeless romantic. But...all was not lost in this book. There were a couple of pretty decent parts. I can't reveal my favorite parts because it will give away too much.

Another excellent series! Great characters, great story line. A real page turner. I also love that she weaves in the characters from the previous books in the series, so that you can know how they are doing as well. I read this series years ago and enjoyed them then. I enjoyed them just as well the second time through, and will read them again I am sure!

A mother of a young child is dressed as a noble man to avoid a nasty mother in law from taking her son after her husband has died. She is eventually rescued from the ordeal when a man who is willing to help her falls in love with her. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the Christian content is very upholding.
