Nora Roberts is and I suspect will always be one of my favorite writers and as such is one of a select few. This book was as usual very hard to put down. I highly recommend it.

Another great novel. although I gave this one 5 stars, I thought there could have been a little more to the story. It seemed to have e dead too abruptly. How did the musical turn out? Was it a success? I guess we will have to use our own imagination.

I am a huge Nora Roberts fan so not to feel the warm and fuzzy from her was a slight disappointment. Don't get me wrong I still like her writing but this one did not pack the same kind of punch of her other stories. I felt like she was rushed to complete this book and shortchanged the reader in the process. Normally she is so descriptive and writes with such feeling, it surprised me when she fell short of that. Still a good book but not as great as her others.

The book is perfect like all of roberts’ books. You can feel the characters jump off the page and come to life. So easy to see the story clearly in your head.

This was an emotional work with volatile characters with a past. They had baggage but worked through it. It may not be for everyone but it shows development. Female main is vulnerable but tries to be strong. Male main is strong but makes dumb mistakes. It's early work for Nora.

Good read, somewhat predictable with the characters, but still enjoyable. Looking forward to some more good reading from Nora. I'll keep a look out for it.

Most of Nora Robert's early works are too typical and shallow. So you know what to expect. I own most of her books since I discovered her in 90's. I like most of them. However, since Nora Roberts decided to reprint all her early works, I have been very disappointed. Most of the material of her books printed in 80's can be found in her later work but with better and deeper plot. All one can get from her early work is to witness how a writer grow and improve. <smile>
All of Nora Roberts's books are wonderful. She had never written a bad one. This book is about two musical people with too many misunderstandings. It is an older story but it is good. I read all of Nora's books. I think she is the best of the best.
