Bully' by David Hughes is a very brightly animated book about the complications of bullying, the mixed motives and the fears of being excluded in the playground. It's very powerful and laid out almost in a comic strip. It has lots of onomatopoeia and is a great read where all the class can join in. This book would be aimed at KS1. This book allows you to have an open discussion about bullying with children in the classroom.

Ray Hughes is a character in Bully, and is a Non-Clique Student at Bullworth Academy. He was voiced by John Walker. Ray is significantly overweight and has a sandy brown buzzcut. He wears a dark green school sweater vest over a white shirt and brown slacks. In the winter, he simply adds a dark green sweater, and has pink earmuffs over his ears. Ray used to be a new student in school before Jimmy arrived, and according to his dialogue, is often a target for bullying.
