Richard S. Kirkendall is the Henry A. Wallace Professor of History at Iowa State University. Kirkendall began his work on this biography of Henry Wallace while serving as the Henry A. Wallace Professor of Agricultural History and Rural Studies at Iowa State University and completed it during his tenure as the Scott and Dorothy Bullitt Professor of American History at the University of Washington.
