This is a great reference book to check causes for various ailments we oldsters experience. I recently had a serious bacterial infection. I checked Dr. Connally's book and found that the drug I had been prescribed was correct but the duration of the treatment was too short. I checked with my doctor and he agreed to extend treatment.
