New chapters reflecting the school-based reforms that have been initiated since the writing of the first edition―specifically addressing the changes in mathematics, social studies, and teacher education. felt boot
This book was well written, and it gave me good, basic information about psychological/cognitive constructivism. I had hoped that would cover all types of constructivism, but it did not. I bought it before I realized that there were so many types of constructivism and that a book oriented toward education would likely just feature one aspect of the theory. You'll need other texts or references if you are also wanting information about radical constructivism, social constructivism, or other aspects of the topic.
