I am an extremely healthy, organic eater cooking and baking EVERYTHING from scratch. I am a fanatic as far as choosing the highest quality foods, reading and doing research on what's best for the body. I even do research when traveling and making sure to eat at only certain restaurants and bringing food with me on trips. I follow a leader in the natural health industry as well as have read numerous books from famous NY Times natural health physicians. Fad eating trends come and go and the latest is trending on the "keto" way of eating incorporating lots of healthy fats. Although I don't eat processed foods and only whole foods, I started with chronic neck pain a few years ago. After doing everything imaginable to help with the pain, bio-idenitcal hormone replacement therapy finally put it at bay. Still recently I have some slight headaches, have developed joint pain in my right toe and in my left middle finger. This was all within the last six months. I couldn't believe it as my diet is so much better than 95% of the American population. I had no idea why this was happening to me. I was eating at a True Foods Kitchen recently and the server and I were talking about avocados and she happened to mention that avocados aren't for everyone and that it depends on your blood type. In the same weekend, my newsletter from the natural health doctor I follow had an article about this book. Knowing my blood type, I immediately ordered this. Come to find out, 75% of the foods I was consuming weren't for me. They were literally poison in my body. Foods like coconut oil, cauliflower, nutmeg, coffee and yes, avocados!!! I was shocked. My #1 food for me is beef and I haven't eaten meat in 30 years. Already I have stopped all the "avoid" foods, incorporating the "highly beneficial" foods, including beef and the finger and toe pain vanished within days. I don't know if it's totally relating to this book, but so far it has helped me. Whole foods contain lectins that are harmful to the body and certain fruits and vegetables that you hear are good for you, really aren't depending on your blood type. This has really opened my eyes and I will continue eating according to the book.

I did a little bit of research at the beginning of the year on the blood type diet after a friend of mine mentioned it to me. I was having all kinds of issues from anxiety, acid reflex, digestion issues, and other health problems. These issues came on all of the sudden as I previously would eat healthy for my blood type without knowing it. I suddenly changed my diet and venturing into other foods. I began to slowly poisoning my body without realizing it until my body started acting all kinds of crazy. After reading this book it began to make sense and became clear to me to go back to my old eating habits. I am now starting to feel better just after a few days. I will buy Dr. Adamo's other books as there are other blood types in my household

Will probably work for many typ o people. I suggest really knowing your own body. He insists that type o people have problems getting their blood to clot. I have problems keeping mine from clotting. So I suggest a caveat to any so called health guru.

Great book. I actually ordered two. I finally see why I could never lose weight, despite being health conscious and working out my weight sometimes ballooned or I could not lose. I learned I was eating all the foods my blood type rejected. I once ate yogurt and would be very ill..turns out diary is not good for 0 negative. I am having digestive woes and after reading this book I discovered out 75% of the foods I thought was healthy was not beneficial for my blood type!

If you are unable to lose weight or having digestive issues read this book: it might help!

Love this condensed version of the book! I have removed certain foods from my diet and the results have been really good. I have lost a few pounds, no more bloating and burping, etc. Friends have noticed a difference in me. I suggest that you try the book based on your blood type if you want to improve your life. Getting ready to order the cookbook based on blood type for myself and a friend has asked that I order her a copy of the food beverage and supplement book based on her blood type.

A customer told me about this book. He was positively glowing as he spoke. So I gave it a try. My brother and I are both Type O. This little handbook is easy to use, is right to the point, and lots of fun getting the highest benefit food items.

I found that the book was very small; more like a booklet. However, the information was interesting. It seems the foods I should be eating were some of my favorites anyway. I discovered in order to follow the diet plan, not surprisingly, I will have to modify and eliminate some foods, and drinks like some citrus, grains, and coffee! That was another interesting change that I found myself doing just recently: limiting coffee and drinking more green tea, which the diet recommends! That was really an "aha!" moment. It seemed that my body was "craving" green tea rather than coffee. It was great to discover that green tea is the better choice! I look forward to improved health, energy, and less digestive issues that the diet plan promises!
