not only does this book have mis-information it is non-professional in its dialoge (buy a joke book if you want jokes) and is so light weight it should be call Windows SBS for Dummies.

Let's face it, MS Windows Small Business Server is for small business.

And that means that the person setting up a "Small Business Server" targeted to small business is either the owner or his 14-16 year old.

Not one of those haughty, experience battered, IT guys who likes to tell us how many giant killer servers and thousands of active directory objects he (usually a guy) set up in a caffeine filled weekend for a giant firm with offices and manufacturing plants around the world.

So with that in mind, this book hits the target, for your typical small business owner or his 14-16 year old who simply needs to set up a MS Small Business Server. And using what, to a possibly jaded IT Pro, perhaps a "Dummies" mode to explain things simply, and perhaps with a full set of training wheels.

But remember this is about a Small Business Server on which to run a small business.

And so it does read like a "Small Business Server for Dummies" to you, if you set up servers every day, all day, for some monster enterprise down the street.

But if you need a guide that is more of a primer on what the various parts of a small business server are and how to set them up.....simply, then this is the book.

Because if you have a small business, IT is not your core competence, so you have to start somewhere.

Also note that many IT Pros will not admit to it, they also started with software like this and guides like this, because in terms of experience, they were once 14-16 year olds setting up "Small Business Servers" for their parent's and relative's small businesses when they started the long experience climb into the world of large scale enterprise IT.
