Spiritedly uplifting and challenging synopsis of arguments troubling Americans. Consider the disarmament question, the search for law and truth is essential and will conclude in disarming. What is wise?

I love Ravi Zacharias' writings, and this book summs up a lot of points made in his and other apologetic writers' books, as well as involving significant amounts of scripture. Our class is enjoying it and the great discussions it brings up on the nature of truth (which are plenty sound) and on the importance of defending our faith. If you are moderating this study, though, be prepared for a decent amount of background reading, as this pamphlet is more of a summary of apologetics type reasoning and doesn't have room to expound a lot on the logical arguments behind the reasoning--just enough to get the main points across to the layperson.

The writers are zealous to defend the faith but have entered into a territory with which they are unfamiliar. They are under the mistaken notion that Truth is a property of propositions and that the Correspondence Theory is the best choice. Both assumptions are serious errors. The booklet does not answer the question of its title and thus is of little value in the discussion on the Nature of Truth.
