I was curious to see if the book was written more tactfully for a younger audience. As best I can tell, it is the exact same book, just in a different binding, and "Lady in Waiting" references replaced with "Young Lady in Waiting. That was slightly disappointing.

I picked up this book for free on my Kindle and was interested in reading it, as I have read [book:Lady in Waiting: Becoming God's Best While Waiting for Mr. Right|69948] several times. I was curious to see if the book was written more tactfully for a younger audience. As best I can tell, it is the exact same book, just in a different binding, and "Lady in Waiting" references replaced with "Young Lady in Waiting." That was slightly disappointing. I still would not recommend it for conservative readers under sixteen, though it would be a great resource for young ladies who have had no Biblical direction about dating and relationships.

This time reading through, it kind of struck me what a poor picture it puts on men. I mean, I realize that the average man is not overly concerned about Christ and all, but it really paints a poor picture--like there are almost no godly men out there. Maybe it is because I live in the South. From reading this, though, I can see how a girl can become paranoid about getting into a deeper friendship with any guy. Just my thoughts here.

Every young woman should read this book before dating. The author offers ways to resist temptation and discusses traits to value in a spouse. Examples are given of young women who waited patiently for marriage as opposed to those who plunged recklessly into marriage. My favorite part was the long list of reasons why a young lady would want to get married and the Scriptural answer for how God will be her husband until He sends Boaz her way. I was impressed by the spirit of purity that exuded from this book.

i bought it for my young daughter but i think its too advanced for her right now but one day she will need this book

I went to the seminar and loved it and got the adult book. I was happy to find a similar book for young girls. I have 3 daughters and am happy to have this to encourage their walk with Christ. It is a positive message to increase their self value and worth and see themselves as beautiful in the eyes of God. I would recommend all parts of this series.

This is a book I purchased to read alongside my daughter as she is entering her teenage years. I hope it will bring us closer together and bring up topics that maybe sometimes difficult to discuss.
