Gene Lingerfelt serves as the founding and senior pastor of Faith Christian Center in Arlington, Texas. At the age of seventeen, Dr. Lingerfelt answered God's call to go into full-time ministry. In 1976, Gene married his high school sweetheart Sue, and each went on to earn degrees from Texas Christian University. Dr. Lingerfelt later earned his doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Their ministry journey has since taken them around the world into over 40 nations during the course of over 42 years of ministry and marriage.
