Michel Quoist, (18 June 1918 – 18 December 1997) was a French Catholic priest, theologian and writer, most known for his bestselling book, Prayers of Life, first published in French in 1954. He was born in Le Havre, his working-class Catholic family was also involved with Jeunesse Ouvrière Chrétienne (Young Christian Workers). However, his father had died when he was 14. Therefore Michel began to work. He sought meaning of life and entered the seminary at St Jean in 1938.

Michel Quoist, priest: born Le Havre 18 June 1921; ordained priest 1947; died Le Havre 18 December 1997. Quoist insisted that all the scenes were authentic and had been lived and prayed before they had been written. He threw himself into finishing a book he had long been writing on man's relation to God and fellow human beings. He completed the text just before his death. Prayers of Life, written while Quoist was still a young priest, will remain his monument.

Start by marking Meeting God in Quiet Places as Want to Read: Want to Read savin. ant to Read. I had an opportunity to visit Buckland, where Mr. Smith's cottage is located in the Cotswolds, before reading this book so his descriptions of the local area were a delight to read. He writes very well, the book is nicely organized, and the illustrations are beautiful. That said, Mr. Smith is a retired law professor, not a theologian, and this comes through in his parables.

Forever God is faithful Forever God is strong Forever God is with us Forever and ever, forever. From the rising to the setting sun His love endures forever By the grace of God we will carry on His love endures forever Sing praise, sing praise Sing praise, sing praise. Forever God is faithful Forever God is strong Forever God is with us Forever and ever, forever. His love endures forever His love endures forever His love endures forever His love endures forever His love endures forever His love endures forever His love endures forever His love endures forever.
