From the foreword by Max Lucado and Randy Frazee:'This book tells the grandest, most compelling story of all time: the story of a true God who loves his children, who established for them a way of salvation and provided a route to eternity. Each story in these 31 chapters reveals the God of grace-the God who speaks; the God who acts; the God who listens; the God whose love for his people culminated in his sacrifice of Jesus, his only Son, to atone for the sins of humanity. FeaturesThe story of the Bible-in its own words.

A touching story of a young boy who befriends a Christmas angel. 1 143. 0. Published: 1996. Facing Your Giants: God Still Does the Impossible. In the mystery of Christmas we find its majesty. The mystery of how God became flesh, why he chose to come, and how he must love his people. Such mysteries can never be solved, just as Love can never be diagrammed. Christmas is best pondered, not with logic, but with imagination. History & Fiction.

God's Story Your Story by Max Lucado, Excerpt. This is Love - The Extraordinary Story of Jesus - Sample. Bold Love - Max Lucado. Cure for the Common Life. You Are Special Max Lucado. Mark and Luke chose to tell this same story. But with apologies to all three writers, I must say none tell enough. Oh, we know the man's disease and his decision, but as to the rest? We are left with questions. The authors offer no name, no history, no description. The ultimate outcast. Sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me, and I wonder out loud. That's what I'm about to do here-wonder out loud about the man who felt Jesus' compassionate touch. He makes one appearance, has one request, and receives one touch.

This book is a tool which parents can use to instruct their children in learning the eternal truths of God and the ancient story of mankind.

Got this book for my 3 girls. They like a story just before bedtime and this book is perfect. The content just lends itself to a nice discussion after each chapter. Just wish it was longer.
The illustrations are also very very nice.

Be sure to check out the notes to parents at the end of the book.
Love love love Max Lucado and this book makes him accessible to children. The story of creation makes me cry every time I read it to my daughters, what a lovely description. I would recommend this book to anyone. I even included it in a care kit for a child in need for Christmas gifts this past year, I hope it touches her as it touches me each and every time I read these stories. The drawings inside are gorgeous and the stories hold up forever and are classic.
Max Lucado is truly gifted. This beautiful, gentle book is truly a gift. This book is a compilation of Biblical accounts accompanied with first rate illustrations. It is an excellent teaching tool and families, educators and lay people alike will always find something useful in this book they can draw from.
This book will most likely stir up powerful emotions and certain passages are indeed, quite moving. The illustrations are masterpieces and the nearness of God's love is the theme that runs throughout the book. It is a very comforting book and one that will always remain part of one's life. As another reviewer aptly noted, bless these men who have used their talents in a way to impart good.
I just can't recommend this book highly enough.
I loved the book, it was purchased for my grandchildren who live in Korea from my oldest son. as a gift for Christmas
One of my children's FAVORITES and I always choose this to give as a baby shower gift
My friend love this. She wants more copies.
One of two story books by Max Lucado with illustrations by Ron DiCianni and I feel in love with all the stories as well as the inspired art. It's great to read to your grandchildren, but the stories blessed me too. My favorite is the story of God creating Adam.
