We have always tried to respect the Slugs and Snails in our Gardens and Spaces and elsewhere, and one fine day, a friend brought in a one of these tiny beings which almost was stepped on, and our friend gave her new Garden friend a leaf to sit upon, and thereafter came volumes of books expanding our knowledge of these really very interesting beings with whom we share our spaces, and expand our awareness of who they are, their lives, their families, and bring new understanding of their journeys along with ours, and for these awarenesses, we feel blessed to have come to know these beings in our lies in whole new ways, and not we look upon them with even more respect and honor than ever before. Our internet world adds enormous libraries to our learning potential, and these books also. Blessings.
Perfect. Exactly appropriate for the age level I sought, 3-7 yrs. Good science for little kids.
Was placed in a schools library
I have taught preschool for over 15 years - the books in this series are wonderful. Great illustrations with easy to understand text. The kids love them and will sit and "read" them to each other over and over again. Anything that promotes a love of science and knowledge is tops in my book.
Very nice book. My daughter loves it. A fun and educational book to read with kids. Nice illustrations too.
