The 'Here Comes Heavenly' books basically defined my childhood, so I wondered if this book might have that Strasser touch. It's your basic transcribe from the script kind of book that you'd find in a scholastics magazine. Lol so I'm not sure why I bought this. Saw it at the bookstore right after I happened to see the movie, actually kinda liked the movie, and was kinda digging the romance between mama and rocket. I was walking past the book, read Todd Strasser, and walked right back

Todd Strasser writes his books largely out of his own experience or remembered feeling, and always with his readers in mind. Then, after I speak, he says, I listen to the audience. Although he admits to having a happy childhood, his teens years coincided with the sweeping social revolution of the 1960s, and he was attracted to its anti-establishment elements. I didn't do much when I first went to college. When it became clear that I would not have to go to Vietnam, I dropped out and did not go back to school until I really knew what I wanted to do.
