My book arrived in brand-new condition, and my daughter loved it. I was a little surprised to see such honesty about some of the brutality that happened on pirate ships, though. But then I realized that many Usborne books are focused on teaching real facts, which I very much appreciate.

Two pages were damaged so badly it could be read.
The other 7 pages I ordered in the 'look inside ' series were great. This one was a diaappointment.
