My six year old absolutely loves this series. He was hooked from book one and now we are on book six. The books are very engaging, funny, build up suspense and keep the interest of both child and parent. You can't help but love Buddy the dog. This is the first chapter book series my son has begged to read. Wish there were more than six books!

This is the second time I had to buy this book. My daughter brought it to school right after getting it the first time and it conveniently went missing. She lliked it so much I had to get it a second time.

I have read books #1-5 in this series with my daughter. I am looking forward to finding more to purchase. The books encourage critical thinking and have an engaging lead character (Buddy the pup). I highly recommend this book for those 20 minutes a day of reading many of us are "assigned" by the schools.

Loved this series. Tackled subjects that are real life, be it human or animal. Fun for younger students to read. A quick read with a good story line.
