I have struggled finding a dentist book for my 2 year old. This was the best out there in my opinion. I just don’t read the parts about the wobbly tooth. I got it to prepare her for her visit at he dentist. It’s not her favorite book, but she does ask to read it from time to time. And her first dental visit went as well as I could have hoped for.

I purchased this for my 3-year-old daughter to help her understand what happens at the dentist. She is now very excited to go with me on my next visit - and wants the dentist to look at her teeth while we're there! We reference this book during our morning and night brushing routine too: she loves when I tell her that her teeth are dazzling, just like Charley's.

It's also helped her to understand that baby teeth fall out and new teeth come in. One word of warning - the story ends with the Tooth Fairy coming to visit Charley. It's only one line, but there's a picture of the little fairy next to Charley's bed. If you aren't planning to do that tradition with your kid(s), you might want to keep the ending in mind.

I bought this book to read to my daughter before her first dentist appointment. She loves the Maisy series and this one didn't disappoint. Cute story to help make the dentist a fun place to go.

My 3 year old has been very hesitant about going to the dentist for the first time. I have even taken her with me a couple of times. After reading this book a couple of times she wanted to go and take her book with her.

She had a great time and asked the dentist to do the things with the chair that were in the book. It was sweet.

I should tell you that our whole family love Maisy and all her friends. The books are so simple and pleasing to the eye of our youngest whom is one.

My daughter had her first dentist visit at 18 mos. I READ to her from Kindle and showed her the pics. I believe it helped ease the experience for her. We are now at appt #3 and each time I reAd this to her the week of the appointment. I don't even have to sit in the chair with her. Maybe the book does help...not sure. Really cute story though.

My 2 year old(Maizy) loves these Maisy books! We bought the whole set!
My granddaughters love all the Maisy books. The animal characters are very appealing to preschoolers and somewhat older than that.
