This is a delightful book about a little dog named Larry who gets separated from his boy Pete and races all over San Francisco trying to find him.
This book can be read in two ways -- simply following Larry as he pops in and out of famous places in San Francisco looking for Pete, a cute story in itself, or include reading the small paragraphs of information about each landmark. You can also look at the book as a simple guidebook and go visit all the places mentioned. Wouldn't it be fun to take your own picture at each landmark and make a scrapbook of your adventure -- without, of course, getting lost :-)

Bought this for my grandson, who lives with parents south of San Francisco, on the peninsula. He and his parents (and I) have visited or seen all the sites here, so it is nice for him to relate to. Recommend for Bay Area folks.

Cute story with great illustrations. The rhyming story is easy to read and a short block of text on each landmark helps add detail for subsequent readings.
