This may not be my favorite counting book but it is my preschool classroom's. I have had to replace it twice because the pop up page gets destroyed quickly. this time I re-enforced the pop up page before I put it out. The children like the rhyming action and they get good numeral identification skills from this book.

I purchased this book for my grandson 2 years ago. It had a wonderful "race car roar" at the end. After we wore that out, I ordered another copy of the book but there was no roar at the end. Very disappointing.

My 2 year son absolutely loves this book, even he opens it and goes straight to the pop out part of the book. Was a surprise to both of us at the end of the book.

My little boys loved this book. The big payoff at the end was the race-car sound. They couldn't wait until the end. Good for color recognition and one-to-one correspondence counting. Great baby gift!
Scream_I LOVE YOU
great book, my grandtwins faces lit up when they received it, always taking it out and looking through the book, touching the cars and laughing!
I am a children's librarian and the kids here LOVE this book. The daycare kids fight over who gets to read it and who gets to be the winning car. I think we're replaced it about five times because they're so rough with it and tear apart the pop-up section on the last page. As an adult, the book isn't anything special. But kids seem to really like the simple story, the plastic cars and the winning finish.
