If you don't have any introduction to marketing at all, this book will do you a great deal of good. Otherwise, it fails to answer the basic question: what is marketing. Marketing is the complex policy making that causes your product to be more visible than competing products, more desirable than competing products and sell better than competing products. This book gives these three subjects a light going over, and is as good a place as any to start, but don't look for any answers here.
