Information is dated by the time it is published. Market trends change so rapidly and regions vary so dramatically that this was not very helpful to me. I can see where it can be a helpful tool - but was a waste for what I needed.
Arrived well packaged, on time and exactly as described. Thank You

Eight pages were missing from the book's index, making it difficult to locate information in the book. Will try to return it for my money back.
You can find the content of this book on-line, but sometimes it is nice to have it at your fingertips as a ready reference. My personal copy is about five years old but I still use it all the time. The "Occupational Outlook Handbook" will provide you with job descriptions of thousands of jobs recognized by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It is often used by human resources people to write job descriptions and it is a great source for finding those mystical KEY WORDS when preparing resumes that are read by computers. It will provide you with information such as the future outlook for a career, skills and education required, salary projections, similar occupations, etc. When I am working with individuals who don't know what kind of career they want, I refer them to "The Occupational Outlook Handbook" and tell them to just browse the various job titles...and try not to get overwhelmed.
great was good value
If you are searching for a job or job options you owe it to yourself to invest in this book. In my book, "How to find your dream job and make it a reality: solutions for a rewarding and meaningful career." I reference previous editions of this book.
In addition, most authors on the subject of job hunting and career use this information. The only problem is these references are not very comprehensive. If you want comprehensive information on the job out look this book is for. If you want to find your dream job invest in my book, "How to find your dream job and make it reality: solutions for a rewarding and meaningful career."
Good luck in your job search.
