Besides inside family stuff, Tina knows about Frank's life from having produced the CBS miniseries about him. The most publicized item in the book concerns Frank's kind words with the Mafia on behalf of JFK's campaign. But, beware the common belief that the Mafia stole the election for JFK-this is dubious-and don't miss out on all of the more interesting stories in the book. There's irony: JFK personally persuaded United Artists to make Sinatra's best film, that classic of nation conspiracy, The Manchurian Candidate.

This obviously was not the work of a sophisticated writer, but it was a touching portrayal of a persons life -- really the essence of all good literature. It was sweet and gave me a sense of this person's very interesting life. I wish it was a longer book so there were more to read -- I think that says something. In any event, I am a little concerned if the reviewer Curtis is actually a doctor if he or she found the book hard to read. It is in fact an easy read.

This was an example of self-indulgence. It was narcissistic and overbearing. It was hard to read. This book may be of value to immediate family members but not to anyone outside of the author's family circle.
