Recently I came across a book written about Mother Teresa, entitled, A Simple Path. The book was compiled by Lucinda Vardey, in 1995. It contains several prayers which I felt are worth sharing. This book has touched in a way no other has. This book breathes life into humanity. Mother Teresa walked the talk and led by example. May we be transformed to do a little of this everyday where we are called according to God's will

A Simple Path essentially explains what Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity do and, more importantly, why they do it. Certain "humanist" critics of Mother and her Missionaries will no doubt criticize the book as a justification of their work and a tool for soliciting donations and volunteers for their organization. However, the book is neither of those things. It is above all an invitation to everyone to make a difference in the lives of the very poor, however you can and wherever you live.

Mother emphasizes non-judgement of the suffering. She advocates everyone using their own talents to offer what they can to God to help the hungry, sick, impoverished, and dying.

I found the book awesomely inspiring and intend to follow Mother's lead from this point on.

This is the third time I've purchased this book. I keep a supply of Mother Teresa's books handy to give as gifts to friends/family members, or sometimes even strangers, who are going through dark times. This, and other books about and by Mother Teresa, had helped me to grasp the true meaning of love and of life, and helped put my feet back on the ground through some very difficult times. I'm happy to say the books have helped my gift recipients also!

This book truly touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. It couldn't have come at a better time in my life. God always knows what we need. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to love their neighbor more.
This is a very nice summary of and lessons for all of us from someone who balanced personal decision making, overcoming obstacles and became passionate, productive and prolific. There are lesson woven in this on leadership, management, family relationships and just being a caring human being. I enjoying sharing this book with others.
