It never seems to amaze me on how great of a guitar player EJ is.
I took my son to see him on 9/25/12 at BB Kings club in Manhattan and he blew out everyones mind. His fingers flow as easy as you can sign your name on a piece of paper.
I have seen EJ about 10 times live and this book helps you to learn his material. I have seen the greatest guitar players who ever lived and played from the 50's-2012 an EJ is in the top 15. (Yes I saw Jimi about 6 times)
The transcriptions are very good and make it easier to learn the printed material.
He has his own unique picking and fingering style. Picking up this book and adding it to your type of playing
can only make you a better player.

I only wanted this book for the song : "cliffs of dover".
And it does sound the way I expected.
I'm happy to have this book as an addition to my collection.
This book is a joke! Mistakes in every area-take the transcription of "Zap" for instance. An Ab chord in the standard notation, but the tab shows a Db chord! The opening run-how do you slur from an F on the D string to an Eb on the A string, then to Ab on the D string to Bb on the G string? A G5 chord symbol over a Ab5 in the notation and tab? A5 labeling a Bb5? What!? Plus, this should be notated in A, with instructions to tune down 1/2 step! Take the fourth bar of "Trademark"-E should be on the second fret, not the third. How do you play B on the second fret, then magically switch to the seventh fret while still holding the note?! You get the idea-this reminds me of the "authentic" Hendrix transcriptions, which are as equally screwed up. Think twice before wasting your money on this!
